2/03/2024, the WLEC attends the Toledo Auto Show followed by Lunch and an Event Planning Meeting at the Spaghetti Warehouse, in downtown Toledo.

The Auto Show took place at the Glass City Center. It was well organized and well attended.

1/13/24 was a Snowy/Icy day so (for safety sake) we cancelled our Meeting in Monroe and met via the Google Meet (Zoom-like) conference application.

We had about 15 WLEC Members in attendance (many with cameras & mics, some without). We held our Meeting the same as we would have in person.

Our new Chapter Vice President, Tom Paisley (Welcome), put together a spreadsheet displaying a long list of possible events for us to choose from. Members are to followup by reviewing the event list and making their choices of favorites.

On 11/15/23, (an unusual mid-week club event) our gang Lunched at George's Senate Coney Island and then toured the Jack Roush Automotive Collection.

We began our event here at 11 AM in Northville, MI

Sunday 10-15-23, WLEC Fall Color Tour. Starts at Erie Apple Orchards and finishes at the Great Lakes Eatery & Pub for a Lunch & Meeting in Dundee, MI.

Our October Event began in the corner of SE Michigan.

Sept 17, 2023 - 25th Annual Ypsilanti Orphan Car Show - Six Studebakers were shown on the field with Don DeLisle's '61 Hawk taking top honors.

59th Annual SDC Int'l Meet, Sept 12-16, 2023 in Manitowoc, WI. Six (6) WLEC Members were seen at this fun event in "CheeseLand".


Saturday 8/19/23, 10 Studebakers & Avantis parked on Old Woodward Ave. for our 16th consecutive year at the Birmingham Cruise Event, part of the WDC.

Our Members & Guests started our day with a tour of the Yankee Air Museum at Willow Run Airport in Belleville, MI.

WLEC Cars Entered Into Garden City's Autos For Autism Car Show - June 19, 2023. Several Members, and Guests, are shown in the photo slide show below.

The 22nd Annual Autos for Autism fundraiser car show is held at the Garden City Middle School property in Garden City Michigan with over 300 vehicles on the show field.

SDC's 40th Annual Parts Swap Meet & Crossroads Zone Meet in South Bend, IN - June 2 & 3, 2023. Many WLEC Members were seen there !

4/15/23, WLEC Tours the Wills St. Claire Auto Museum in Marysville, MI. followed by Lunch at the Riviera Restaurant in Marine City, MI.

In the final days of Winter the WLEC visited the YAHM in Ypsi on 3/18/23. Later, we gathered for lunch at Depot Town's Aubree's.

18 Members & guests toured the YAHM, formerly America's last Hudson Dealership. The expanded facility is now home to  the National Hudson Museum.

Saturday 1-21-2023 Annual Event Planning Meeting & Lunch - Ocean Garden Buffet in Toledo. We had 26 Members in attendance who enjoyed a great buffet.

Back by popular demand, a return to OGB (Ocean Garden Buffet) in NE Toledo.

WLEC Holiday Gala at Monroe's Grey Heron, 12-10-22. Nineteen Members gathered for lunch, a club meeting and spreading holiday cheer. Merry Christmas.
